Sherwin Williams has begun dismantling its 10-story “Our Vibrant Hometown” banner to make room for a newly approved Lebron James banner. It will be unveiled before the home opener on October 30th.
The banner will be 110 feet by 200 feet and weigh in around 1 ton. It shows James in his well known “rosin pose” with Cleveland written on the back of his jersey instead of his last name.
In an interview with the Sun Herald, Sherwin-Williams CEO Chris Connor said “For the past three years, we have dedicated the side of the Sherwin-Williams headquarters building at Ontario and Huron to celebrate the energy, strength and beauty of our home town of Cleveland, LeBron James is certainly one of the prides of Northeast Ohio. We think this new banner is a fitting tribute to LeBron’s return to Cleveland and we join with Nike and Cavaliers fans everywhere to welcome him home.”
It seems that Ray Allen is set to join LeBron & Co. in Cleveland. While this is not a done deal, it would not be surprising to learn that Allen signs with the Cavs after the months of rumors. It should be noted that the Cavs have not made this deal official.

Jason Lloyd captured a great moment during the Cavs first scrimmage. LeBron told Joe Harris & Alex Kirk to lead the team out of the tunnel, meanwhile he held everyone else back.
