BEREA (92.3 The Fan) – Josh Gordon stopped by his locker clad in Baylor green Monday with a smile that stretched ear to ear.
The 6 month soap opera concerning his eligibility this season finally ended with his reinstatement and Gordon will take the practice field Wednesday afternoon for the first time since late August.
“No place I’d rather be than Cleveland right about now.. #reinstated,” Gordon tweeted Monday afternoon.
Fans expect Gordon to jump in and pick up where he left off last season that saw him lead the NFL with 1,646 yards in just 14 games after he sat the first 2 of the year out because of a suspension for a substance abuse violation.
But the team – including quarterback Brian Hoyer – is trying to manage those expectations.
