July 2 – Indians turn double replay triple play: The Indians did something teams had a hard time doing this year – getting the speedy Yasiel Puig and Dee Gordon out on the basepaths. The Tribe triple play in LA went F7-2-4, Brantley to Gomes to Kipnis. With two instant replay reviews thrown into the mix, this became a first-of-its-kind play.

July 4 – Indians honor military with Homestand Heroes: The Indians played host to branches of the military on our nation’s birthday, with the club’s first Homestand Heroes military tribute — during which the Indians paid tribute to fallen, current and future military heroes before and after the game.
