CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – Sunday’s record come-from-behind win over Tennessee may very well have salvaged the season – at least for the time being.
With the franchise trying to escape the 11-12 loss seasons that it’s been stuck in over the last 6 years, wins are a precious commodity and opportunity knocks.
“It’s good to be 2-2 and not 1-3 so that’s an important thing,” running back Ben Tate said Monday.
Tate is on the money. There’s a massive difference being 1-3 versus 2-2 – especially with the opponents that are on deck for them over the next month.
The 5-game stretch the Browns find themselves in is considered to be the easiest from a strength of schedule standpoint in the league. It’s a golden opportunity to pile up a few wins before they hit the much tougher home stretch too.
