Late last week, the Bob Feller statue was moved from its place near Gate C at Progressive Field so that construction crews could begin work on a dramatic transformation of that area. (Link includes video!)
This week, work continues inside the ballpark, with the destruction of the Batter’s Eye Bar — which eventually will pave the way for great new views for Clevelanders outside the ballpark — and more prep work for the installation of a new group seating area in the former Upper Reserved area in right field.
The Bud Patio also is being taken out to make way for a new, two-story, climate controlled bar in near the right-field foul pole.
