Browns Look To Establish Home Field Advantage Against Saints

CLEVELAND (92.3 The Fan) – The Browns look to put last week’s last second loss to the Steelers behind them as they kick of the home portion of their schedule against the Saints.

FirstEnergy Stadium got a $70 million makeover this offseason that included new massive video boards, reduced capacity but more seats closer to the field and a new sound system.

Aside from improving the fan experience, the focus of the renovations was to help provide a home field advantage.

“It’s like opening day in baseball,” head coach Mike Pettine said. “There’s just a feel to it that, like I said, it’s a special day. We’re excited to get out in front of the Dawg Pound, and put out a performance that they can be proud of, not just a half.”

Unfortunately, like their record in week 1 (which is now 1-15 since 1999) their record in home openers…
