Then Brian Hoyer took over and drove them 85 yards in 13 plays to put them in position to win it.
Billy Cundiff kicked a 28-yard field goal to cap a 14-play 85 yard drive to give the Cleveland Browns a 26-24 win over the New Orleans Saints Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Hoyer completed 24 of 40 passes for 204 yards and a touchdown in the win for Cleveland, who won their home opener for the first time since 2004.
Drew Brees, who rallied the Saints from a 16-3 first half deficit, finished the day 27 of 40 for 237 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception which was returned for a TD.
