Draft day is almost upon us and I’m not sure about you, but I can barely see because of all the smoke and mirrors.
One month ago the media was sure that Cleveland was going to take Johnny Manziel, but over the past few weeks we’ve seen Sammy Watkins, Khalil Mack, Jake Matthews, Mike Evans, Blake Bortles(the list goes on) all find their way into the #4 overall pick.
It was last year in April that we all sat around and were sure(or we were hoping) that the Browns would take Dee Milliner and instead they chose Barkevious Mingo. It turned out to be the better pick, but it was one that the Browns were not talking about publicly.
So who will they take this year?
Apparently not Johnny Manziel if you believe Fox Sports.
There are rumors swirling that Jacksonville will take him at #3. There are also rumors that the Bucs will be taking him if he’s still on the board. Or Oakland will…
I can tell you what we do know…nothing. The bottom line is Cleveland has to take the best available player at #4. If Watkins is available, you take him. If you trade down, then it had better be a great deal. Quarterback & wide receiver are two must haves in this draft so I would hope that the first pick the Browns take is an offensive threat.
